DIY Lace Eggs

Posted on
Easter is my favourite vacation and I really like making every kind of Easter Eggs whether or not it’s coloring my youngsters’s eggs for our yearly egg hunt or making ornamental eggs for our annual decorations so after I noticed this I knew I needed to make it. These Lace Eggs have been so attractive I instantly fell in love with them. They’re very easy to make you solely want some lace, a balloon, and a few glue.

Supplies:

  • A couple of items of outdated lace ( outdated curtains or an outdated gown, and so on… from the thrift retailer or your closet)
  • Glue
  • A Balloon
  • Matching thread (Matching you lace)
  • A string of LED Lights (battery operated small ones)

Instructions:

Blow up your balloon and tie off, then soak your outdated upcycled lace remnants in glue and begin inserting then round your balloon tying them off as you go, bear in mind you don’t need the lace to be so moist you’ll be able to’t handle it, however you don’t need the lace to dry out an excessive amount of so it turns into stiff and is tough to handle as nicely, simply get it to that semi moist candy spot and away you go.

You then gently loosen your dried lace from across the balloon then let the air out of it by slicing the highest.

You then stuff in your battery operated LED mild strand and beautify your own home.

My children liked this undertaking a lot all of them made one every for our annual Easter Egg Hunt and we put them across the door to welcome our friends for the large day.
